Reflex Nursing and Care was set up as a small Family run business in July 2008 in response to a gap in the market for a quality supplier of Nursing and Care staff to various establishments in the North West.
At Reflex we pride ourselves on finding out about you, our service user, whether you're a NHS establishment, a Nursing Home or an individual looking to purchase your own care package we will work with you to help you decide on what's best for you and be flexible in our approach to your changing requirements.
At the begining of the Swine Flu outbreak we were involved with the initial set up and staffing of an anti-viral unit at a local PCT, helping them to achieve their objective of quickly making the facility available to the public. This involved completing patient questionnaires, directing them to the correct treatment channel and dispensing the 'Tamiflu' drug.
At Reflex we also provide specialist care without the specialist price tag such as bespoke one to one care which often involves looking after a clients specific and sometimes complicated needs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, this can drastically reduce the burden on Care Homes and Families and give valuable respite to those concerned.
As a family run business we've experienced for ourselves and understand the upset and concern that looking after someone close to you can cause. We firmly believe a common sense approach in conjunction with personal needs and proper assessment can truly make the difference between just looking after someone and real care. We believe this gives us a unique ability to demonstrate that we're big enough to cope but small enough to care.
Working with Reflex Nursing and Care can be a very rewarding experience, our people enjoy good rates of weekly pay, update training and a flexible approach to working, giving the opportunity to work with various different organisations in different settings or if preferred in a more routine environment, the choice is theirs. We also provide 3 monthly training updates for all our staff to keep them up to date with the latest developments in legislation and techniques helping them to give the highest level of service.
In 2009 we became a Department of Health Dignity in Care champion, which means that we subscribe to 10 key points in care provision, helping to put dignity in the heart of care services.
Put plainly and simply we provide quality, flexible staffing for the Healthcare Sector. This means we supply nursing homes and private hospitals. In October 2009 we won an NHS contract to supply staff, often at the last minute, ensuring that they have enough people on duty to look after those needing care and attention. We think we understand their needs better than most because we've worked with and for them and even experienced the service we offer on a personal basis. That's why our service differs to others because our people strongly believe in what they do and the care they give. We do this by employing local people who know and are part of the community and pride themselves in giving a professional caring service at all times, this in turn makes them very popular, with most service users requesting the same member of staff on future bookings.
